Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher Divorce After 13 Years of Marriage

Actors Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher revealed on Friday, April 5, 2024, that they filed for divorce last year after 13 years of marriage.

The announcement was made via both actors’ Instagram stories, accompanied by a photo of the couple dressed in tennis attire.

“After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down,” the statement reads. “In 2023, we jointly filed to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy and have been quietly working through this change. We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy.”

The couple first met at a party in Australia in 2002, got engaged in 2004, and tied the knot in 2010. Baron Cohen and Fisher share three children together.

Fisher is renowned for her comedic roles in films such as “Wedding Crashers,” “Confessions of a Shopaholic,” and “Bachelorette.” She has also lent her voice to various animated projects, including the latest “Guardians” installment for Marvel and films like “Strays” and “Rango.” Meanwhile, Baron Cohen gained fame for his creation of comedic characters on his show “Ali G,” which led to several spinoffs and the hit film “Borat.”
