Ueshima Ryuhei, a well-known Japanese comedian, actor, and television personality who was a member of the comedy group “Dacho Club,” passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, leaving his entire family devastated.

According to investigators with the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, Ueshima was found dead in his home in Tokyo’s Nakano Ward, Japan, early on Wednesday morning, May 11, 2022, after allegedly dying by suicide.

The death was ruled a ‘suicide’ by Department investigators, who are currently investigating the mysterious incident. The reason why Ueshima took his life is unknown. There are a variety of reasons why someone might want to commit suicide.
After studying at an acting school, Ueshima formed Dacho Club with Katsuhiro Higo and Jimon Terakado in Hyogo Prefecture, western Japan. He was well-known for his upbeat physical comedy performances and appeared on numerous television variety shows.
