Ruth Adjei: Ghanaian gospel musician bags Global Music Awards nomination in South Africa

Ruth Adjei, a Ghanaian gospel performer, has been nominated for the 2023 World Music Awards, which will be held in South Africa.

She gained the coveted position with hit songs such as “Matchless Father,” “Oshidaa,” “Woye Ohen,” “Mb,” “Ma Meny d wo,” and “Same Old God.”

She has also been nominated for Gospel Artiste of the Year by the Global Beauty and Art Industry Festival and the 2023 Jupiter Media Awards, both of which will be held in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.

Ruth Adjei has been dubbed one of the hottest musicians in the new wave of gospel music.

She defeated top opponents to be named Gospel Singer of the Year at the recently concluded Ghana Youth Entertainment Awards and the Global TikTok Awards in May 2023.

There is already a new level of expectation that has begun to build up since she published her new song titled ‘Same Old God’ – a song that espouses God’s faithfulness and unconditionality to fulfill every word he has spoken to his children.

The gospel singer having been honored by the leadership of the Church of Pentecost for her hard work, is on a journey of preaching Christ through her music with great consistency and passion.

She expressed gratitude to the church for their training and mentoring which she said had contributed to her success as a musician.
