Rustom Sorabji “Rusi” Cooper was an Indian first-class cricketer and lawyer. Cooper attended Elphinstone and St Xavier’s High Schools in Bombay.

As a right-handed batsman, he made his first-class debut for the Parsees in the 1941-42 Bombay Pentangular Tournament.
Cooper was the last surviving player from the Pentangular Tournament, which ended after the 1945-46 season. He is also Middlesex’s longest-serving first-class player.
He turned 100 on 14 December 2022 and died on 31 July 2023 in South Mumbai.

Cooper held the distinction of being the last surviving player from the Pentangular Tournament, which ended after the 1945-46 season.
Additionally, he held the record as the longest-lived first-class player in the history of Middlesex. Rustom Sorabji “Rusi” Cooper celebrated his 100th birthday on 14th December 2022. Regrettably, he passed away in South Mumbai on 31st July 2023.
Rusi Cooper’s salary at the time of death however, is unknown to the public.
