Ross Lynch is an American actor, singer, dancer, and musician. He has four siblings, sister Rydel, and brothers Riker, Rocky, and Ryland.

He and his siblings were home-schooled and the entire family relocated to Los Angeles so that their oldest sibling, Riker Lynch, could focus on a career in Hollywood.
The siblings were members of the R5 band. On March 9, 2010, they released their first EP Ready Set Rock, but it was removed after Ross was cast in the Disney Channel show Austin and Ally.
On February 19, 2013, they released the EP Loud. Since the release of their debut album, Louder, on September 24, 2013, which peaked at number 24 on the Billboard 200, they have been on a world tour.

Sometime Last Night, their second album was released on July 10, 2015, and debuted at number six on the US Billboard 200, as well as reaching the top twenty in five other countries.
In addition, they have released five EPs, eleven singles, and a documentary. On March 2, 2018, they announced that the band would be taking a break and that The Driver Era would consist of only Ross and Rocky.
