Eric Winter is an American actor and former fashion model who is the husband of Roselyn Sánchez, a Puerto Rican actress, singer, model, and writer.

The couple met at a party in 2005. He proposed two years later during a midnight kayak ride in Puerto Rico.
“I was petrified she would drop the ring,” Eric recalled to InStyle. “It never left the box. She accepted; I shut the box and told her she could see it again on land.”
On November 29, 2008, the couple married at a historic fort in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, near Roselyn’s hometown. The festivities lasted four days and included 250 guests.
Roselyn wore a stunning crystal-and-pearl-embellished silk organza gown that was difficult to walk in. “I had to kick my legs down the aisle,” the Devious Maids alum admitted.

Eric Winter has played Rex Brady on Days of Our Lives, FBI Special Agent Craig O’Laughlin on CBS drama series The Mentalist (2010-2012), Dash Gardiner on Lifetime fantasy-drama series Witches of East End (2013-2014), and Sergeant Tim Bradford on ABC drama The Rookie.
His film appearances include Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (2008) and The Ugly Truth (2009).
