Makeup artist Roselyn Akosua Mantey has etched her name in history by breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest marathon applying makeup by individuals.

Her remarkable journey began on Wednesday, April 3, and concluded on Sunday, April 7, 2024, spanning an impressive five days of continuous makeup application.
Surpassing the previous record of 24 hours, Mantey’s endurance and skill have set a new benchmark in the makeup industry.
Although initially scheduled for six days, Mantey had to conclude the marathon in five days due to health challenges.
Throughout her record-breaking endeavor, Mantey received overwhelming support from various celebrities and personalities who visited the venue to cheer her on.
Notable figures such as AJ Poundz, Sokoo Hemaa, and Xandy Kamel graced the event, demonstrating solidarity and admiration for Mantey’s remarkable feat.
Renowned personalities including Berla Mundi, Anita Akuffo, Nana Yaa Brefo, Osei Felicia, and Ms. Nancy also endorsed the event, further highlighting its significance.

With over eight years of experience in the makeup industry, Mantey’s passion and dedication have propelled her to this extraordinary achievement.
Expressing gratitude to everyone who supported her, Mantey revealed her plans for the future, announcing the launch of the “Agenda Get a Skill” project, which aims to provide free makeup training tours across Ghana.
“A lot is coming up, and we are going to have a free makeup training tour across Ghana with the name Agenda Get a Skill Project,” Mantey said.
