Ronnie Spector, the American pop-rock singer and member of The Ronettes, has, unfortunately, passed away. The death of Ronnie Spector was confirmed by her family on Wednesday, January 12, and they revealed that she died after a brief battle with cancer.

The singer was noted for some great songs like “Be My Baby”, “Baby, I Love You”, “Do I Love You?”, “You Are The One”, and others. Ronnie was also noted for authoring the book titled “Be My Baby: How I Survived Mascara, Miniskirts, and Madness.”

Ronnie Spector died at the age of 78 years. The statement released by the family of Ronnie reads: “Our beloved earth angel, Ronnie, peacefully left this world today after a brief battle with cancer,” the family said. “She was with family and in the arms of her husband, Jonathan. Ronnie lived her life with a twinkle in her eye, a spunky attitude, a wicked sense of humour and a smile on her face.”
