Ellen Campbell was the wife of Ronnie R. Campbell, an American politician and a member of the Virginia House of Delegates who was first elected in a special election in 2018.

Ellen is a very private person and as a result, details about her personal and professional life are under the wraps.
Ellen and Ronnie were married for many years and they shared five children.
Ellen’s husband was born in 1954 and died on December 13, 2022 after a battle with cancer. He was 68 years.

An Augusta County native, Ronnie served in the House of Delegates since 2019. His time as a politician followed his career in law enforcement, notably with the Virginia State Police for 25 years.

His death was announced Tuesday by House Speaker Todd Gilbert, R-Shenandoa, who said in a statement:
“A detail from one of my last conversations with Ronnie speaks volumes about the kind of man he was. His biggest worry wasn’t the disease attacking his body, or any concern over what comes next.
“No, Ronnie was worried that he wouldn’t be able to make it to Richmond to do his job, to be the voice for his constituents that they elected him to be.
“Just hours before his passing, he was working to see that the legislation he had prepared for the upcoming session wouldn’t fall by the wayside if for some reason he couldn’t be with us.”
