Barbara was born on August 6, 1937, in Shoreditch, London, United Kingdom.

She stood at a height of 4 feet 10 inches (147 cm) tall.

On April 10, 2018, it was publicly revealed that the Carry On legend had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

Windsor died on December 10, 2020, at age 83 in London, United Kingdom.

Her first husband was Ronnie Knight, an associate of the notorious Kray twins.

Born in 1934 in Hoxton, east London, Ronnie committed minor offences in his youth.

Ronnie became famous by running two of the favorite London gangland watering holes of the time: the Artistes and Repertoire Club in Charing Cross Road and its neighbour, Tin Pan Alley.

In 1983, £6million was stolen from a Security Express depot in Shoreditch, East London.

After a decade on the run in the Costa Del Sol, Ronnie Knight was finally jailed for seven years at the Old Bailey for his part in the crime.

Knight admitted handling £314,813. His plea of not guilty to robbery was accepted by the Crown.

Sentencing him, Judge Gerald Gordon said he took into account that Knight had voluntarily returned from Spain to stand trial and had pleaded guilty.
