Cristiano Ronaldo was brought to tears as Al Nassr suffered a defeat on penalties to Al Hilal in the final of the King’s Cup of Champions.

Aleksandar Mitrovic of Al Hilal scored early, while Ayman Yahya of Al Nassr equalized, leading the match into extra time and ultimately penalties.

Ronaldo came close to scoring a remarkable bicycle kick just before half-time, but unfortunately, his attempt struck the post.

The game witnessed three red cards, with Al Nassr’s goalkeeper David Ospina and Al Hilal’s Ali Albulayhi and Kalidou Koulibaly all being sent off.

Ospina’s sending off prompted a tactical adjustment, resulting in Sadio Mane being sacrificed.

During the penalty shootout, both Ruben Neves and Alex Telles missed their attempts, but Mitrovic and Ronaldo successfully scored theirs.
