Ronald José Acuña Blanco Jr. is a Venezuelan professional baseball outfielder curently plying his trade with the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Ronald made his MLB debut in 2018, and won the National League Rookie of the Year Award.

The next season, Ronald’s excellent performances continued and he was named an MLB All-Star, was the NL stolen base leader, and won a Silver Slugger Award.

Ronald was born on December 18, 1997 to parents Ronald Acuña and Leonelis Blanco.

Ronald was born into a baseball family as his grandfather, Romualdo Blanco, and father, Ronald Acuña Sr., both played minor league baseball.

Ronald is the eldest of four sons born to his parents and his younger brother, Luisangel, is a shortstop in the Texas Rangers organization.
