Ron Perlman is an American actor and voice actor. He is the son of Bert Perlman and Dorothy Perlman.

His mother Dorothy worked for the city, and his father, Bertram “Bert” Perlman, was a jazz drummer and television repairman. Perlman’s family is Jewish, with roots in Hungary and Poland, and he had a Bar Mitzvah ceremony.
Ron Perlman graduated from George Washington High School in 1967 and Lehman College in 1971. He later attended the University of Minnesota where he graduated with a master’s degree in theater arts in 1973.

He is probably best-known for the “Hellboy” movie franchise and the FX television show “Sons of Anarchy.” In addition to his live-action work, Ron Perlman has an extensive career as a voice actor.
Ron Perlman has lent his distinctive voice to various animated films, television shows, and video games. Notably, he voiced the character Clayface in the animated series “Batman: The Animated Series” and Slade Wilson/Deathstroke in the animated series “Teen Titans.”
Perlman has also provided narration for a number of audiobooks, including City of Thieves by David Benioff. Perlman also does narration in the UFC’s cold open promos for pay-per-view events.
