Roh Tae-woo was a South Korean politician and army general who served as South Korean President between the years 1988 to 1993. Roh Tae-woo was a member of the Democratic Justice Party and he won the presidency on the ticket of the Democratic Justice Party.

Roh Tae-woo is known popularly for passing the June 29 Declaration in 1987, as he succeeded Chun Doo-hwan and was preceded by Kim Young-sam. Roh Tae-woo served as President of the Democratic Justice Party from 1987 to 1990.

How Did Roh Tae-woo Die? Roh Tae-woo died on October 26, 2021, in intensive care at the age of 88 years. Roh Tae-woo died on natural cause although he suffered from prostate cancer for several years.
Roh Tae-woo served as Minister of Sports in 1982 and Minister of Home Affairs for South Korea also from 1982 to 1983. Additionally, Roh Tae-woo served as President of the Seoul Olympic Organizing Committee from 1983 to 1986.
