Roger Mynors Swinfen Eady, 3rd Baron Swinfen, MBE was a British politician and philanthropist.

Swinfen was one of the ninety two hereditary peers elected to remain in the House of Lords following the passing of the House of Lords Act 1999 and he sat as a Conservative.
Swinfen received his education at Westminster School and at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, after which he received a Short Service Commission in The Royal Scots before leaving the British Army in the rank of Lieutenant.
As a philanthropist, Swinfen was the Founding Trustee of the Swinfen Charitable Trust and was also the Director of the American Telemedicine Association from 2009 until 2013.
Swinfen was President of the South East Region British Sports Association for the Disabled.
Between 1983 and 1997, Swinfen served as a Member of the Direct Mail Services Standards Board.
In 1988, Swinfen became Patron of the Disablement Income Group, in 1996, Patron of Labrador Rescue South East, in 2002, Patron of World Orthopaedic Concern, and of the Kunde Foundation in 2007.

Swinfen was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2016 New Year Honours for services to international telemedicine for his work with the Swinfen Charitable Trust.
Swinfen was born on 14 December 1938 and he died on 5 June 2022 aged 83.
