Rodrigo Javier De Paul is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for La Liga club Atlético Madrid and the Argentina national team.

De Paul, who was born in Sarand, Greater Buenos Aires, joined Racing Club’s youth program when he was eight years old.
He was called up to the senior squad on June 24, 2012, while still a junior, for a match against Vélez Sarsfield, however, he did not play in the 1-2 home loss.
De Paul agreed to terms with Atlético Madrid on a five-year contract on July 12, 2021. He joined his new club just a few days after Argentina won the Copa América.
