Rodolfo Vieira is a Brazilian submission grappler, mixed martial artist, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) practitioner, who has carved a remarkable path from the mats of BJJ to the Octagon of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
With a record of four-time Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Champion, seven-time Abu Dhabi World Pro champion, two-time Pan American and European Champion, and ADCC Submission Grappling World Champion, he is undeniably one of the best heavyweight BJJ competitors of his generation.

In 2019, Vieira’s journey led him to the UFC, where he competes in the middleweight division.
One of his most notable moments in the UFC came on April 29, 2023, when he faced Cody Brundage at UFC on ESPN: Song vs. Simón. Vieira displayed his exceptional grappling skills by winning the fight via submission in the second round. The impressive victory had earned him the coveted Performance of the Night bonus award.
However, Vieira’s much-anticipated bout against Armen Petrosyan at UFC Fight Night 231 on November 4, 2023, was unfortunately scrapped. Petrosyan fell ill backstage during the event, leaving fans disappointed but undoubtedly eager to see Vieira return to the Octagon.
