Rodion Ruslanovich Amirov, a gifted Russian professional ice hockey forward, is best remembered for his tenure with Salavat Yulaev Ufa in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). His remarkable journey led to the Toronto Maple Leafs selecting him with the 15th overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.

Before moving on to Tolpar Ufa and the farm team of the Supreme Hockey League, Toros Neftekamsk, Amirov started his hockey career with the Salavat Yulaev Ufa development program. Later, with Salavat Yulaev Ufa, he played his first KHL game in the 2019–20 campaign.
