Robin Williams was an American and comedian. He was born on July 21, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, US. He was the son of Robert Fitzgerald Williams and Laurie McLaurin. He attended public elementary school and middle school at Deer Path Junior High School.

William began performing stand-up comedy in San Francisco Bay Area in 1976. He gave his first performance at the Holy City Zoo, a comedy club in San Fransisco, where he worked his way up from tending bar.

Robin Williams cause of death
Robin Williams died on August 11, 2014, at home in Paradise Cay, California. He committed suicide by hanging. His body was cremated at Monte’s Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo, and his ashes were scattered over San Francisco Bay the next day.
The final autopsy report, released in November 2014, concluded that he died of asphyxia due to hanging.
