Robert Carradine is an American actor known for his extensive work in film and television. He  is the son of John Carradine and Sonia Sorel.

Robert Carradine is the brother of Christopher and Keith Carradine, the paternal half-brother of Bruce and the late David Carradine, and Michael Bowen’s maternal half-brother.

When Carradine was two years old, his parents divorced. His father won custody of him and his brothers, Christopher and Keith, after a difficult court fight. During the custody struggle, the children were placed as wards of the court in a home for abused children for three months.

Carradine was raised mostly by his stepmother, his father’s third wife, Doris Grimshaw, and considered her to be his mother until he was 14 years old and met Sonia Sorel at a Christmas party.
