Rio Dyer is a pro rugby union player who plays the wing position for Dragons in the United Rugby Championship.

Born on December 21, 1999, in Newport, Wales, Dyer attended Bassaleg School, and played rugby at the youth level for Risca RFC, Pill Harriers RFC, and New Port High School Old Boys RFC.

He made his senior debut with the Dragons in 2018, in a match against the Saracens in the Anglo-Welsh Cup. So far, he has made 36 appearances and scored 50 points for the team.

His time with he Dragons has seen him win the man of the match award on two occasions, with the last being in 2022, after he scored twice and propelled the team to a 32–25 win.

On the international front, Dyer has represented Wales in several international matches such as the Autumn series, Six Nations Championship, World Rugby Sevens Series, and World Rugby Championship.

He made his test debut in 2022, during the Autumn Internationals.
