Qatar is the richest country in the world, with a GNI per capita of $116,799 more than $20,000 higher than other nations. In 2017, they had a GDP of $308.6 billion and a population of 2.6 million.

2. Macao, China

Macao is a region in China. It is growing faster than any other richest country in the world. They have a GNI per capita of $95,304 and a GDP of $65.3 billion.

3. Singapore

Singapore is the single largest seller of integrated circuits or microchips in the world. This circuit makes up 36% of the country’s exports. It has a GNI per capita of $82,503 and a GDP of $480.0 billion.

4. Brunei

Brunei is one of the richest countries in the world as a result of its wealth of valuable resources. Petroleum accounted for more than 90% of Brunei’s exports. The country has a GNI per capita of $76,427 and a total GDP of $30.8 billion.

5. Kuwait

Kuwait has a GNI per capita of $72, 872 and a total GDP of $271.1 billion. The country is one of the five nations with GNI per capita above $70,000.
