Dr. Richard Lamar Dent, a retired American football defensive end, played for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL) for the most of his career. He was born on December 13, 1960. He was honored as the Super Bowl XX Most Valuable Player. He was admitted in 2011 to Canton, Ohio’s Pro Football Hall of Fame.

In the eighth round of the 1983 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears selected him. He had spent the last 11 years with the Bears since that time. Richard also worked for the Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, and San Francisco 49ers. He’s the XX and XXIX Super Bowl champion. Richard won his first Super Bowl with the Bears and was named MVP.
