Rian Haynes (Chef) – Paloma Faith’s Ex-Husband

Rian Haynes was the first husband of English singer, songwriter and actress Paloma Faith.

Paloma Faith and Rian Haynes a chef from New Zealand got married in 2005.

However, the marriage was short-lived as they separated after eight months.

Rian Haynes and Paloma Faith finally got divorced in 2009.

Paloma Faith later said of the marriage;

“It was just a young, frivolous thing. We were in our early twenties and we did something quickly and realised it was a mistake. But we’re still close. I am still friends with him. All my other relationships were the ones that screwed me up, not that one!”

However, in his first interview about the relationship, Rian Haynes told The Daily Mail that he believes Paloma Faith left him to focus on her career, and that her decision left him nursing a broken heart.

Rian Haynes said;

“I didn’t try to change her mind. Even though we hadn’t talked about ending it, I think I felt it coming. She’d been distant – it was clear her focus was elsewhere rather than on me and our marriage,”

“I was crushed.”

Rian Haynes also revealed that it took years for him to get over the divorce with Paloma Faith.
