Rexxie detained by Ugandan police, appeals for assistance

Nigerian emerging artist, Ezeh Chisom Faith, popularly known as Rexxie, has issued a distress call for support after being detained by Ugandan authorities.

Rexxie is a producer, DJ, and even a sound engineer. He spearheaded the production of the Zanku sound and Naira Marley’s song “Soapy.”

The singer, who was born on the 10th of November, 1994, and is currently 29 years old, recently made a marriage proposal to his girlfriend and turned to Instagram on Monday morning seeking assistance.

In a plea for help, Rexxie disclosed his current situation in custody with the Ugandan Immigration officials. While he did not specify the cause of his arrest, he expressed his view that it was unjust.

Urging his followers to rally behind him, he initiated the hashtag “UgandaFreeRexxie” to amplify his plea for freedom.

In the Post, he wrote, “I’ve been arrested at the Ugandan Immigration. Pls I need help. This is so unfair! HELP HELP HELP!!! #UgandaFreeRexxie,”
