Reno Omokri Cautions Men: Marrying Based on Good Character Alone May Not Be Enough

Self-proclaimed provocateur and author, Reno Omokri, has issued a stern warning to men contemplating marriage.

In a recent tweet, he cautioned against tying the knot solely based on a partner’s good character, without considering physical attraction.

Omokri asserts that relying solely on a spouse’s prayer intensity or moral virtues is inadequate for a successful marriage.

According to him, such an approach leaves the door wide open for trouble. He likens it to inviting the devil into one’s home, as the man may eventually seek fulfillment outside the marriage.

Drawing from biblical wisdom, Omokri emphasizes that God’s design for marriage involves more than just character compatibility. He contends that a man should be drawn to his wife both emotionally and physically. In other words, a healthy marriage requires a balance between inner virtues and external allure.

In his words;

“As a man, if you marry a prayer warrior you are not physically attracted to, you are FINISHED. No. I was wrong. You are not FINISHED. You are COMPLETELY FINISHED. You will never be happy in your marriage if you are unhappy in your marital bed. A good character is vital in a woman. But without physical attraction, the only session you guys will enjoy is a prayer session! An ideal wife should be able to pray, slay, and stay.”

“Read Proverbs 5:19. Even God expects your wife to excite you physically. Proverbs 5:19 says that an ideal wife should have breast that takes you to ecstasy and love that intoxicates you. Assume I am lying. Read it yourself. It is satan who wants you to marry a prayer warrior you have no attraction to, so he can tempt you to commit adultery with women you are attracted to”
