The Brazilian professional footballer Renan Lodi plays as a left-back for Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal and the Brazil national team.
Lodi commenced his football playing career with the youth system of Athletico Paranaense in 2012.
After his impressive four seasons stints with the youth ranks of Paranaense, Lodi made his senior team debut on October 14, 2016, in a 1–0 away loss against Grêmio.

Lodi then joined Atlético Madrid, signing a six-year contract with the club on July 7, 2019. He scored his first goal for Atlético in a 1–1 draw with Granada on November 24, 2019.
While with Atlético, Lodi was loaned to Premier League club Nottingham Forest on 29th August 2022 on a season-long loan deal.
Following his loan stints, he signed with Olympique de Marseille on July 14, 2023.
On 17 January 2024, Lodi signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal, for a reported fee of €23 million.
