Rema is a Nigerian rapper and singer. He rose to prominence after his song “Iron Man,” which was included on Barack Obama’s 2019 summer playlist.

On March 25, 2022, Rema released his debut album, Rave & Roses. Rema’s fourth single, ‘Calm Down,’ was released on February 11 as the fourth track on his debut album, ‘Rave And Roses,’ and serves as a follow-up to his smash single, ‘Soungasm.’

Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ music video has reached 70 million views on YouTube four months after its debut. This makes it the fastest Nigerian music video to reach such heights.

It had a groundbreaking appearance on Shazam in May when it was the most shazamed music in France.

His debut album ‘Rave & Roses’ returned to the top of the Spotify Nigeria Weekly Album Chart, bringing his total number of weeks at the top of the chart to nine, the most for any artist since the Spotify Nigeria chart was created in 2022.
