Rema Drops His UK Tour Dates

Nigerian singer, Rema, has dropped the dates for his much anticipated UK tours on his various social media platforms.

Rema is expected to perform at various places in the UK from August 28 to August 30. He mentioned that he will be performing lice at All Point East and Yam Carnival on August 28, Summer Fest Manchester on August 29 and DLT Brunch London on August 30.

Rema has risen through the ranks in his music career over the years. He rose to prominence with the release of the song “Iron Man”, which appeared on Barack Obama’s 2019 summer playlist.

On 21 May 2019, Jonzing World, and Mavin’s released the music video of “Dumebi”, a major breakout song from his eponymous EP, with a cameo appearance from Diana Eneje. The video currently has 43 million streams on Youtube and was directed by Ademola Falomo.

In May 2021, Rema announced he will be calling his sound “Afrorave”, a subgenre of Afrobeats with influences of Arabian and Indian music.
