Alex Quartey, a referees instructor for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has confirmed that FIFA referee Daniel Laryea will be available to officiate domestic matches when needed.

During an interview on Peace FM, Quartey mentioned that Laryea often travels internationally for his roles as a Video Assistant Referee (VAR), an assistant referee, or the main referee in CAF competitions.

Nevertheless, Quartey emphasized that the GFA will readily call upon Laryea to officiate in the domestic league whenever he is available.
“Daniel Laryea is a professional referee, frequently abroad for various assignments, including as a VAR and main referee. However, whenever he is back in the country, we will certainly utilize his services. Just last week, he officiated a match, and if he is available again, we will undoubtedly call on him,” Quartey told Peace FM.
