Treatment for ventricular tachycardia may include medication, a shock to the heart (cardioversion), catheter procedures or surgery to slow the fast heart rate and reset the heart rhythm.
Myotonic Dystrophy Type 2
Myotonic dystrophy type 2 (DM2), one of the two types of myotonic dystrophy, is an inherited muscular dystrophy that affects the muscles and other body systems (e.g., heart, eyes, and pancreas).

There are few epidemiologic studies of DM2 as a result, its exact prevalence is not known.
