Ray Illingworth suffered oesophageal cancer for some time and was undergoing radiotherapy before his death. The unfortunate passing away of Ray Illingworth has come as a big blow for cricket fans on this day of Christmas.

Ray Illingworth is survived by his two daughters: Diane Illingworth and Victoria Illingworth.
