Rapper Take Off Obituary

Takeoff was a rapper from the United States. He was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA, in Gwinnett County.

His mother raised him in Lawrenceville, Georgia, along with family members Quavo and Offset.

Takeoff began rapping in 2008, alongside family members Quavo and Offset. The group was originally known as Polo Club, but they later changed their name to Migos.

Migos rose to prominence following the release of their single “Versace” in 2013. Drake remixed the song, which peaked at number 99 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 31 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

Yung Rich Nation, their debut studio album, was released in July 2015. The album reached number 17 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Takeoff was shot and killed on November 1, 2022, while playing dice with Quavo at a bowling alley in Houston, Texas. He was declared dead at the scene. Quavo was not hurt.
