A former head coach of both professional and collegiate soccer, Randy Jordan Waldrum was born in Irving, Texas, on September 25, 1956. On December 19, 2017, he was chosen to serve as the women’s soccer team’s head coach at the University of Pittsburgh.

Women’s soccer at Notre Dame won two national championships under Waldrum’s direction in 2004 and 2010. The 2010 title game was as his 300th game at Notre Dame.

The Nigeria women’s national football team appointed Waldrum as their technical consultant and head coach in October 2017. Waldrum was slated to take over the team before the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations qualification campaign. He declined the position, nevertheless, and did not get the coaching job.

A NFF source claims that the Super Falcons Coach received payment on June 8th. According to the source, Waldrum makes a salary of $10,000 a month, but after taxes, his take-home pay is only about $8,000.
The NFF recently acknowledged that it is in financial trouble and has not yet paid some of its coaches’ overdue salary, including Waldrum.
