The horse has become one of the most sought-after in the Czech Republic.
Its owner, Ramzan Kadyrov, who owns about 120 horses, and is an ally of Vladimir Putin, had posted on social media to announce the disappearance of his horse.
“This is a great shame. I am worried Zazou might end up in the wrong hands. How did this happen? Where was the security?”, he said.
Kadyrov had been sanctioned by the European government sometime in 2014, following Russia’s annexation of Crimea, and as a result, his horse was barred from racing.
