After his Twitter announcement, Ghanaians showered the dancer with congratulations and praises, encouraging him to continue reaching greater heights with his achievements.
However, in a tweet, his former manager, Quables, subtly questioned the significance of DanceGod Lloyd’s celebration of his TikTok verification.
Quables wrote “in Ghana when a dancer has nothing to do anymore he starts to celebrate verification.”

His comment has sparked a backlash against him, with internet users criticizing what they perceive as a “toxic” attitude.
The duo’s relationship soured after DanceGod Lloyd parted ways with his manager in 2022 amid allegations of discord between the dancer and his colleagues at Dance With Purpose Academy (DWP).
His departure followed his exclusion from the group of performers who served as backup dancers for American singer Usher at the Global Citizen concert.
Quables defended his comment regarding the dancer’s TikTok verification in a tweet.
He Tweeted, “Ask him to really tell you about me, if nothing has gone wrong or keeps going on I will never come at him like that. He knows what he is doing.”
You people think I don’t like this person ?
