The duchess is also scheduled to co-host an event on Women in Leadership with Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the director general of the World Trade Organisation. Other items on the agenda for the royals include a basketball camp with Giants of Africa, a cultural reception, and a polo fundraiser for Nigeria: Unconquered.

The trip marks their first to Africa since 2019, when in their last official visit as working royals, the duke and duchess visited South Africa, Malawi, Angola, and Botswana.
