Pierre-Luc Dubois, known for his powerful presence on the ice, is a dual citizen of both Canada and the United States, an identity he holds with pride.

His family’s connection to the United States is rooted in his mother, Jill, who originally hails from Atlanta, Georgia. The blend of Canadian and American heritage adds a unique dimension to Pierre-Luc’s story.

Éric Dubois, Pierre-Luc’s father, brings his own rich history in the world of ice hockey. A former professional ice hockey player, Éric played an essential role in kindling his son’s passion for the sport.

Currently serving as the defensive coach of the Winnipeg Jets’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Manitoba Moose, Éric Dubois is no stranger to the intricacies of the game. Pierre-Luc’s journey in hockey began at an astonishingly young age of three, in Germany. This early initiation into the world of hockey was influenced by his father’s playing career in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).

The Dubois family also includes Pierre-Luc’s sister, Daphne, who is two years his senior. Daphne is currently pursuing her studies in Quebec, a testament to the family’s dedication to both education and sports.
