Piero Angela Net Worth At Death

Piero Angela, an Italian television host, science journalist, writer and pianist has died. He died on 1th ugust, 2022, aged 93 and was a few months away from celebrating his 94th birthday.

Piero was quite tight-lipped about his finances. However, he was estimated to have a net worth of $1.5 million.

Piero started his career in the media as a radio reporter, then became a foreign correspondent, and established himself as the host of the Rai newscast.

Piero, is best known as the creator and presenter of broadcasting programs modelled on BBC and David Attenborough documentaries, to whom he has been often compared, and also for his scientific journalism published in numerous publications.

Piero was also an author and he wrote thirty-three books, which sold over three million copies, received many honorary degrees, made over sixty documentaries and hundreds of television episodes, won seven Telegattos and eight times won the national television directing award.

Piero is survived by his wife Margherita Pastore and children Christine and Alberto.
