Piero Angela Cause Of Death

Piero Angela, an Italian television host, science journalist, writer and pianist has died. He died aged 93 on August 13, 2022. He was a few months to celebrating his 94th birthday.

Though a cause of death has not been given, it is very likely that he died of natural causes.

Piero started his career in the media as a radio reporter, then became a foreign correspondent, and established himself as the host of the Rai newscast.

Piero, is however, best known as the creator and presenter of broadcasting programs modelled on BBC and David Attenborough documentaries, to whom he has been often compared, and also for his scientific journalism published in numerous publications.

Piero was a distinguised author and he wrote thirty-three books, which sold over three million copies, received many honorary degrees, made over sixty documentaries and hundreds of television episodes, won seven Telegattos and eight times won the national television directing award.

Piero is survived by his wife Margherita Pastore, children Christine and Alberto and three grandchildren.
