Phila was born on the 26th of October, 1989. He is an actor, singer/songwriter, and rapper.
He appeared in SABC1 drama series Intersexions, in 2013, where he played the role of Zolile.
Phila is known for the Songs Igaqa Le Ice (2020), Isikizi and Cinderella (2016). He also appeared in the movie Isikizi in 2017.
He also stared In Intersexions Season 2, Mutual Friends; Single Galz (season 1) and The Queen (season 4).

He now starrs in the famous e.tv soap opera Nathi, where he played the role of a gay character.
Phila is also an active member of the LGBTQ community. He happens to be gay, homophobic, bisexual and now enjoys a polyamorous relationship lifestyle.
Phila’s mother, Judith, was from Port Elizabeth. She recently died after a long battle with cancer. She was buried in Eastern Cape last week.
His father, Ringo Madlingozi, is a well known musician, band owners and a member of the South African National Assembly.
