Mike Wallace was an American journalist famous for being a correspondent on CBS news program 60 Minutes.
Wallace was a “paragon of TV journalism”, played host on a number of game shows and doubled as an actor.

Highlights of his successful career include notable interviews he conducted for prominent people such as Vladimir Horowitz, Luciano Pavarotti, Malcolm X, Richard Nixon, Pearl S. Buck, Deng Xiaoping, Ronald Reagan, and many others.

Wallace retired as a correspondent in 2006. He was survived by a wife, Mary Yates, two children, and three stepchildren.
Mike Wallace Death and Burial
Wallace died a natural death at his residence in New Canaan, Connecticut, on April 7, 2012, at the age of 93.
Wallace had reportedly battled heart problems in the past and had to undergo a triple bypass heart surgery sometime in 2008.
“You forget the lights, the cameras, everything else, and you’re really talking to each other,” these were Wallace’s online feature “Last Words.”
Wallace was cremated.
Some of his ashes were partially interred in a cemetery, and the remaining was scattered over Vineyard Haven Harbor in Massachusetts.
