About Peter Mahony
Peter O’Mahony plays rugby as a flanker for United Rugby Championship club Munster and the Ireland national team.
In 2009, Mahony played in Ireland’s U20 team, serving as captain, and was later named to the senior squad in 2012.
During the Autumn Tests in 2013, Mahony scored his first try for Ireland, in a game against Samoa.

So far, he has made 97 appearances and scored 25 points for Ireland.

In 2017, Mahony began playing for the British & Irish Lions, and was selected for the British & Irish Lions tour to New Zealand.
Mahony made his senior debut in 2010 with Munster and ended up appearing in 177 games, scoring 75 points.
During his time with Munster, he served as captain of Ireland’s under-20s during the Six Nations Championship and IRB Junior World Championship in 2009.
Mahony also led Munster A to the final of the inaugural British and Irish Cup during the 2009–10 season.
