Pete Crow-Armstrong is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Major League Baseball (MLB) Chicago Cubs.

He is the son of Matthew John Armstrong and Ashley Crow. Both his parents are actors.

Matthew John Armstrong, his father, is well-known for his appearances in Turks (1999), The Profile (2010), and Heroes (2006).

His father Armstrong attended Naperville Central High School in Naperville, Illinois, where he played football and was the DuPage Valley Conference’s two-time Defensive Player of the Year.

From 2002 through 2005, John Armstrong played a recurrent character on American Dreams. He played Ted Sprague on the television show Heroes from 2006 to 2007.

In an episode of Supernatural in 2011, he played a phoenix. The outfielder’s mother is best known for playing Sandra Bennet on the TV show Heroes.

Ashley Crow has also appeared in guest appearances on episodes such as Dark Angel, Everybody Loves Raymond, Touched by an Angel, Party of Five, Nip/Tuck, and The Mentalist.
