Pepe Vendrell (Spanish tennis player): Who is Garin’s coach?

Tennis instructor José Luis “Pepe” Vendrell Bru from Spain is presently working with Cristian Garn.

He had previously worked with the Villena, Spain-based JC Ferrero Equelite Sports Academy.

From 2011 to 2021, he mentored fellow countryman Roberto Bautista Agut, guiding him to nine ATP Tour singles titles and a career-high World No. 9 position.

According to Bautista Agut, Vendrell was “like a brother, a buddy, and a psychotherapist.” The two got along well enough to part ways as colleagues.

Vendrell was chosen to lead the Spanish team at the ATP Cup in January 2021.
