Payton Thorne is an American football quarterback for the Auburn Tigers. As of this writing, Payton is currently single and is not known to be in any relationships.

Thorne began his high school career at Metea Valley High School in Aurora, Illinois, before moving to Naperville Central High School in Naperville, Illinois.
He was named the Chicago Sun-Times and Naperville Sun Player of the Year as a senior in 2018 after throwing for 3,113 yards and 40 touchdowns.

Thorne attended Michigan State where he played college football. He appeared in four games as a backup to Rocky Lombardi in 2020, making one start. He passed for 325 yards and three touchdowns in his first career start against Penn State.
He completed 48 of 85 passes for 582 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions on the season. Thorne was selected the Spartans’ starting quarterback to begin the 2021 season.
Thorne threw for 3,240 yards, 27 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions in his first full season as a starter in 2021, finishing with a 77.7 QBR. Thorne has been added to the Maxwell Award watch list for the 2022 season.
