Paul Rendall Cause of Death

Former England prop, Paul Rendall has been reported dead. According to sources, he died after suffering from motor neuron disease at age 69.

“We lost Paul Rendall ‘The Judge’ today. Here celebrating having just beaten Australia in 1988. The man quietly taught a young captain the importance of enjoying life! He was a master. He was also genuine, kind, loyal, and tough. A lovely man,” former England rugby football captain, Will Carling said.

Nicknamed “The Judge.” Rendall was born on February 18, 1954. He had 28 caps for England, from 1984, when he was already 30 years old, to 1991, without ever scoring.

He played at the Five Nations Championship for 6 seasons, in 1984, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, and 1990. He played at the 1987 Rugby World Cup, in three games, and at the 1991 Rugby World Cup, in one game.

Before his death, Rendall was still very much active in the sports. After his playing career, he went on to become the head coach and director of rugby at Bracknell RFC until 2022.
