In 1998, it was revealed that Johnson had an 11-year relationship with freelance journalist Gloria Stewart, who had photographed them together in his study “at the request of a British tabloid.”
Stewart claimed to have revealed the relationship to the media due to Johnson’s hypocrisy regarding his beliefs regarding morality, religion, and family values, but she later acknowledged that their relationship ended when Johnson “found another girlfriend.”
