Boudehent’s first summons to the France national squad for the 2023 Six Nations Championship came from Fabien Galthié on January 17, 2023. Pierre Boudehent, who also plays as a center or wing for La Rochelle, is Boudehent’s older brother. Paul is a large front-rower with a strong tackling and ball-carrying style. He was likely given the nickname “Poney” (Pony) after his brother, Cheval (horse).
