Adrien Tambay is a professional racing driver from France and the son of Patrick Tambay, a former Formula One driver who won two Grands Prix for Ferrari in the early 1980s.

Adrien Tambay began his racing career in the German Formula BMW ADAC series, where he finished fourth and was crowned rookie champion.
In 2008, he moved to the new Formula BMW Europe series, finishing third behind Esteban Gutiérrez and Marco Wittmann. Adrien Tambay was one of eight Audi factory drivers in the DTM championship from 2012 to 2017.

In his first year, he will finish tenth in the championship and will go on to win four podiums, one pole position, and two fastest race laps in his DTM career. Adrien Tambay is currently a CUPRA official and the 2021 ETCR Champion.
Patrick Tambay worked as a commentator for French television after retiring from full-time racing. He was also the deputy mayor of Le Cannet, a Cannes suburb.
Patrick Tambay died on 4 December 2022 after suffering from Parkinson’s disease for several years.
